Functional Tester Mission:
Within the marketing – communication teams, your main mission is to ensure the quality of the software solutions developed for the marketplace, the purchasing management software, and the Rejolt Manager.
In collaboration with development teams, project management, and business stakeholders, you ensure that the implemented features meet defined needs, work correctly, and provide an optimal user experience.
You will be involved at all stages of the product life cycle, from the design phase to production, including the validation of fixes.
Main tasks:
1. Analysis and understanding of functional needs:
· Study the functional and technical specifications of the software suite modules.
· Identify key use cases and user journeys to test.
2. Design of scenarios and test plans:
· Write test cases based on the provided specifications.
· Design test plans covering all functionalities and edge cases (functional tests, regressions, integration, etc.).
· Maintain a structured and up-to-date test library.
3. Execution of tests:
· Perform manual tests to validate developed functionalities.
· Identify, document, and track anomalies detected in the bug management tool.
· Retest the fixes made to ensure they meet expectations and do not introduce regressions.
4. Test automation:
· Collaborate with technical testers or developers to automate repetitive and critical tests.
· Participate in the implementation of automation tools suitable for the software suite (e.g., Selenium, Postman for APIs).
